More CAT 2018 Test Sessions
Exams like NEET and JEE main are conducted in at least eight sittings. This decision was taken to comfort the candidates so they do not have to travel to faraway places to take the exam. The CAT aspirants are requesting the CAT committee for the last two-three years to conduct the exam in 4 different slots i.e. in two days. The aspirants are provided an alternate day in case of emergency or clash with other exam dates. It may be possible that IIM Calcutta might accept the request of aspirants.
Early Mock Test on CAT website
After the early announcement of the CAT 2018 dates, IIM Calcutta announced to be more transparent to the aspirants and they can expect to have official CAT Mock available on IIM CAT website which is much earlier as compared to past years.
Changes in Non-MCQs
Changes in the number of Non-MCQs are also expected to change in CAT 2018. This number has been in the range of twenty-five to twenty-eight questions in the previous years. The number of such questions will either remain the same or increase this year as non-MCQs helps students to attempt more questions in the examination.
