It wouldn’t be wrong to call this fall to be the fall fest for the video games. After being a rather dull year for games, the fall has come with a plethora of games to play day and night. Following are the most anticipated games of the Fall, with no real order. Without further wait let’s check them out
Red Dead Redemption 2
If there’s one game that I am most anxiously looking forward to playing, then that game would take the Red Dead Redemption 2. Every game from the Rockstar games is a must try since they add so much content that it looks that you are actually living a second life in the world created by The Rockstar North. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a sort of prequel to the original Red Dead Redemption, where the players are in the shoes of Arthur Morgan who is an old man in the first game. After a heist gone wrong (Literally a heist goes wrong) scenario Arthur and his Dutch Van derLindegang are forced to run. As there are hunted by the Lawmen and the bounty hunters alike.
As it is always the case with the Rockstar games the main attraction of the game is its Open World, that has 200 different species of animals to hunt and 16 different breeds of horses to mount. According to the recent leaks, the size for the PS4 version of the game will be 105GB.
Shadow of the Tomb Raide
Shadow of the Tomb Raider in another game that every gamer should play if action adventure is the preferred genre. The Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the final addition to the rebooted trilogy of the Tomb Raider series. The game is developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square EnixCo. Ltd. The events of the game happen way after the events of the Rise of the tomb raider. Lara is a mature lady now who knows what she is dealing with. Her new quest is to find the lost Tomb that was mentioned in one of her father’s journals.
Like the previous games, Trinity will be her arch nemesis, and she must deal with trinity alongside the puzzles that are in the way, the combat in the game is smooth as ever, though the difficulty and death scenes have increased incredibly.
Marvel’s Spiderman (PS4)
The season started early and incredibly with the release of PS4 exclusive marvel’s Spiderman. The new take on the Superhero game from Insomniac games (The developers of immensely popular rachet and clan series). The game feels very new though the story thankfully is not an origin story, rather we have an experienced Spiderman and an Adult Peter Parker. The combat mechanics of the games have a slight Arkham touch in them which feels good. Many compare the combat with the combat of Arkham city which has the most satisfying combat ever. The swinging mechanics of the game are the highlight and definitely most satisfying experience.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the successor of the successor of an immensely popular reboot of the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed origins. Odyssey is all of the Origins but big in simple terms. While in most AC games there are no consequences of your actions, in AC Odyssey, however, each of your dialogues and actions has an effect in the bigger narrative of the game. The game sets way before the events of the Origins, in ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War, you play either Alexios or Kassandra who are the decedents of Spartans. The stories of both characters are same, with little differences. The open world created for the game is huge and there are many incentives for the player to roam freely and find hidden treasures.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4
The celebrated military first-person action shooter game is back and now it is more refined, has much better graphics and a bigger and better campaign. The Multiplayer system of the Black Ops series is the main reason why people love the series has many constructive changes as well. They have added a Battle Royale mode too. While the traditional modes are refined. Matchmaking now takes less than a minute and there are no latency issues. You can play the open beta now.
Hitman 2016 was a surprise reboot of the almost dead series. The episodic design of the game was new to the series as each episode would have a new location and new design which player in the shoes of Agent 47 would have to decipher and then eliminate the target. Hitman 2 however, will feature the improved level design but they are ditching the episodic approach. The game will be released in a whole package and the level design now will be more direct. The expected release date of the game is November 13.
Fallout 76 is the new installment in the Fallout series from the Bethesda Studios. Fallout 76 is actually a redesigned online multiplayer experience that treats every player to be the member of the Vault 76 while maintaining the feel of a Fallout experience. The game is four times the size of its predecessor Fallout 4 which in itself was a huge game. There is no ending of the game, the dynamic world will keep changing and new quests will be added to the game sequentially. Additionally, the players can interact with another player in the world by destroying their locals and interact with them in many other ways.
Battlefield 5 is the first person action shooter game developed by DICE and published by EA. The game is popular due to its multiplayer system which at times feels better than the solo campaign. However, this time around they have given a serious focus to the solo campaign too which is based on the WWII. The open beta of the game is out you may want to try it out. The game also features full RTX support if you have the shiny RTX graphics cards. Though the final release date is pushed back again and now it will release on November 20.
